Meghan Markle’s Shocking Revelation and Chelsea Davy’s Lawsuit Against Meg for Using Her Photos Without Permission

Chelsea Davy, the ex-girlfriend of , is reportedly suing Netflix for using her photos without permission in the teaser for the upcoming docuseries on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

One of the pictures included in the trailer was cropped to exclude Davy, who was standing beside Harry at Heathrow Airport in 2007.

The lawsuit comes as a shock to many, as Davy was among the guests at the royal wedding of Harry and Meghan in 2018.

The minute-long teaser released last week starts with personal and never before seen black and white pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Flashing through the screen is being asked by an interviewer why he's decided to make the documentary.

After he replies, “no one sees what's happening behind closed doors,” the trailer shows a picture taken at Westminster Abbey during the Commonwealth Day service, featuring prominently the Prince and Princess of Wales as they sit in front of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The royal then adds, “I had to do everything I could to protect my family,” as the trailer cuts to Meghan wiping away tears from her face.

The scene is followed by more pictures, some showing crowds and paparazzi and others the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at different stages of their lives, from childhood to their young adult years.

One of these snaps portrays Harry shielding his face from the flashes of cameras.

The original version of this picture was taken in 2007 at Heathrow Airport and included the royal's ex-girlfriend Miss Davy cropped out by Netflix for the purpose of the trailer.

Miss Davy and Harry were in an on-again off-again relationship between 2004 when they met in Cape Town and 2011.

Their split was reportedly amicable, and the Zimbabwean businesswoman was among the guests at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding in May 2018.

The decision to add a picture originally featuring Miss Davy in a trailer for a documentary focused on Harry and Meghan's story has divided opinions.

Taking to Twitter, body language expert Jesus Enrique Rosas wrote, “You just can't make this shit up.

For Harry and Meghan's Netflix teaser, they included a cropped picture of Harry with Chelsea Davy.”

Another social media user found this move funny as they wrote, “Who knew one minute could yield so many laughs?”

In other news, was reportedly shocked to learn that she would not be paid for the work she's done at royal engagements.

This revelation was made in a book by royal writer Valentin Lowe titled “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown,” released earlier this year.

During a major royal tour of Australia in 2018 with Prince Harry, Meghan expressed shock at not being paid.

As per Lowe, Meghan enjoyed the attention she got from the public during the tour, much of it owing to her own refreshingly informal approach to royal visits.

When she turned up at the home of a farming family, she brought some banana bread that she baked herself.

When the couple visited a school to see the work of a programme to improve the educational outcomes of young aboriginals, she was feated as an inspirational role model.

However, behind the scenes, things were different.

According to Lowe, Meghan failed to understand the point of all those walkabouts, shaking hands with countless strangers.

The author then quoted unnamed members of her staff as revealing that Meghan said at one point, “I can't believe I'm not getting paid for this.”
