Queen Elizabeth Purchases Corgi Puppy on Popular Pet-Buying Website
As Prince Philip, 99, continues to recover from a heart procedure at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, Queen Elizabeth has welcomed two new corgi puppies into the royal household.
The news came just ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey about their struggles within the royal family.
Despite the turmoil at Windsor Castle, the Queen's spirits are said to be lifted by the new puppies, which have brought a lot of noise and energy into the castle.
According to a source, it is unthinkable that the Queen wouldn't have any corgis, as the breed has been a favorite of hers for many years.
Initially, the ages, genders, and names of the pups were unknown.
However, interesting details about one of them have now been revealed.

According to reports, Buckingham Palace found one of the corgi pups on Pets for Home, a popular pet-buying website that has been favored by many during the lockdown.
The Queen reportedly purchased the puppy, named Charlie, for £2,650.
Charlie was one of two puppies advertised by seller Denise Thomas online.
Denise claimed she was not aware who the puppy was for, but was promised that he would have the best life.
Denise's son, Craig Skyramy, revealed that a woman pulled up in a black Range Rover on February 26 to take the puppy away.
She wouldn't reveal the identity of its new owner, only saying that he was going to a home in Windsor.
The family had a strong hunch that the corgi puppy might be on its way to meet the Queen, who is historically very fond of the breed.
According to palace sources, the new pup was indeed Charlie, although he may have been given a new name.
Charlie was born on December 5 and is described as a playful fellow who loves to play fetch but needs some house training.
Craig admitted that the teething pup had nibbled his way around a few items in their home.
However, he rejoiced that Charlie might appear in royal pictures in the future.
A source close to the royal household revealed that it was highly unusual for the Queen to buy one of her dogs off a website and that Charlie must have been a very special pup.
The Queen has always been very involved with the breeding of her dogs in the past and was a very responsible dog owner who always made sure the dogs were healthy.
While the names and genders of the other new puppy are still unknown, it is believed that the canines were a gift and are said to bring a lot of noise and joy to the palace.
In any case, it seems that the Queen's love for corgis is as strong as ever, and Charlie will undoubtedly receive the best possible care and attention in his new home.
